Our recommendations for toddlers

As with infants, the right toys can create a love for learning that will last a lifetime! The best will allow your toddler to make a new discovery each time he plays with them.

 

When purchasing toys, ask yourself, "Can my child play and explore with this toy in several different ways?" Toys that offer variety will help him develop his creativity and expand his ideas. For instance, at a younger age he may enjoy the visual and tactile stimulation of a ball, but as he grows, he will begin to roll and catch the ball, delighting in his new game.

 

You should be able to see the wheels turning in his mind as the toy engages his interest and natural curiosity. It should be challenging, but not so complex it frustrates him.
